These were always made around christmas time at my house. They are almost like home made
Reese Peanut butter cups
2 lb creamy
peanut butter at room temp.
1 lb
butter or oleo at room temp.
3 lb Confectioners
sugar
2 pkg (24oz)
chocolate chips
1/2 bar
parafin
Mix peanut butter, butter, and sugar together till texture is smooth (using hands is best).
Form into small balls at 2" - Refrigerate
Slowly in double boiler melt chocolate chips and parafin together
Using a tooth pick dip cold buckeyes 2/3 into chocolate. let dry on waxed paper. Smooth over hol with finger.
Parafin maybe omitted but buckeyes must be refrigerated
This recipe makes a whole lot - using 1/2 of everything is better.
