Jack Klugman is an
American born actor who got his
fame from
acting as
Oscar Madison on
The Odd Couple. Klugman was born in 1922 near
Philadelphia, PA, and is thankfully still
alive as of 8/1/00.
Before appearing on television, Klugman appeared on Broadway, Gunsmoke, and Alfred Hitchcock Presents, Twilight Zone, and many other shows (us.imdb.com/Name?Klugman,+Jack)
More importantly than ALL of that, however, Klugman has one very large fan in his club. His name is Zorak, the lone mantis of the apocalypse. In a highly rememberable episode of Space Ghost Coast to Coast, Zorak exclaims the following while holding up a "Free Jack Klugman" sign:
"Love is watching Jack Klugman..."
"Be a man! Be a KLUG-man!"
Editors note: Klugman died at the age of 90 on December 24, 2012 at his home. The cause of death has yet to be determined.
