Lyrical
dancing is also a subtype of
modern dance, combining elements of
ballet and
jazz dance. The result is usually very slow,
creative movements, and it is quite beautiful if done correctly.
Lyrical can be done barefoot or wearing special sandals made of suede which leave the toes and heel exposed but provide a surface on the bottom of the foot so that spinning isn't painful.
