Daifuku is a Japanese sweet which primarily consists of bean paste wrapped in, "mochi," or rice cake. It goes very well with green tea.

The name daifuku means something like, "great happiness." Which is how I feel when I find some in an Asian market.

A good friend of mine once told me to think of daifuku, "as the great Japanese Snicker's Bar." I really think they are better than that!
