Born as Xaviera de Fries in
Indonesia during
WWII, Xaviera Hollander became a
secretary - a profession that she soon dropped for that of a
call girl, a job which she enjoyed.
In 1971, she wrote up what she had experienced in her best-selling book, The Happy Hooker and in a lot of other books, including some how to spice up your sex life thingies and a couple of autobiographical ones, mostly with highly erotic content.
Nowadays, she lives in Holland and Marbeilla, Spain, writing, cooking, entertaining guests and producing artists.
