World of Illusion

The plot involves Mickey and Donald staging a magic show, during the preparations for which they find a magic wardrobe. Entering the wardrobe transports them to the World of Illusion, an environment where their magic works. Each of the levels in the game is filled with elements lifted from a wide range of Disney movies - including a giant garden a la Alice in Wonderland, underwater scenes from The Little Mermaid, and even a fight with Pete's Dragon at one point. And many more.

The game features different levels depending on whether you're playing single player as Mickey or Donald, or two player with both characters. Although very impressive at the time, World of Illusion has aged quite badly due to the extreme amount of progress that was made in the platform genre in later years. It's a little slow, and rather too easy, but it is still quite enjoyable.
