This is a song my father taught me. He sang it incessantly every Halloween. I've no clue of its origins, and would love a /msg if anyone has the information. Sick, isn't it?

great big globs of greasy grimy gopher guts
mutilated monkey meat
chopped up little babies' feet

eyeballs swimming in a swimming pool of blood
ashes from a dead man's grave
something that your mother made

and I forgot my spoooooon!
Here's another version, which I learned one year in summer camp:

Great big globs of greasy grimy gopher guts
Mutilated monkey meat, little dirty birdy feet
Fresh brewed eyeballs frying in a frying pan
But I forgot my spoon, so gimme a sandwhich
With pus on top, monkey vomit and camel snot
Fresh brewed eyeball, dipped in doo
Eat it insert name of unpopular camper (sometimes me) here, it's good for you!
Another variant from my childhood:

Girls are made of:
Greasy, grimy, gopher guts
Mutilated monkey meat
Itty-bitty-birdies' feet
French-fried eyeballs, swimming in a pool of blood...
Gee, I forgot my spoon.

Apologies to all girls, former girls, and anyone else who might not like the sentiment expressed in the song.

yet another regional variant of this song, which I learned growing up in Evanston, IL.

Great green gobs of greasy grimy gopher guts
Mutilated monkey meat
Chopped up baby parakeet
French-fried eyeballs floating in a cup of soup
That's what I had for lunch!

I forgot my spoon
But I remembered my face.
So I stuck it in the cup and I slurped it all up
And that's what I had for lunch!

There are tons of regional variants of this. Some say "mutilated monkey feet" instead of "mutilated monkey meat" and some say "little birdies' dirty feet" instead of "chopped up baby parakeet". It's pretty bizarre.
