One of the ancient Celtic tribes, the territory of the Dal Riata was located in Ulster, Ireland. Also called the Dal Riada, this tribe is known for being the primogenitor of the Scots who founded the kingdom of Daladria in what would become western Scotland under Fergus Mor Mac Erc around 500 A.D..
