This was one of my favorite things to do when I was 10. It was 1988, and caller id, and *67 didn't exist. (Thank God!)

I don't know why we did it. We would want to talk to them, we would even ask for them if someone else answered.

When I was 15, my friend Jenn and I called this guy Mike S. We got his answering machine and said "Mike, you are so hot!!" - we were friends with Mike though, we never told him we thought he was hot, and calling his answering machine anonymously seemed to be a funny thing to do while having a slumber party, stoned. I think this is one step above the calling/hang up thing.

If an adult does this, I think it is considered stalking.

Yah, yah, yah.. I was always boy crazy.. I know.
