This is the Center for Imaging Science
at the Rochester Institute of Technology at RIT. They sport under-grad programs in Imaging Science, and the only graduate/phd program in Imaging Science.

Also, at the center, are research projects with NASA Kodak, Xerox, doing teloscopy, examining the Dead Sea Scrolls, Imaging studies of both Land, and water pollution.

Overall, a little-known but very cool place.
