Tsar Cannon is a giant cannon located at the Kremlin in Russia.

The cannon weights 40 metric tons. It is over 5 meters long and has a 850mm bore. It is now placed on a decorative carriage with three 1 metric ton cannon balls.

The cannon was crafted in 1586 for the defense of Moscow. The cannon was designed to shoot grapeshot and could not possibly shoot any kind of cannon balls.

Russians call the cannon “Tzar Pushka” and mention it in the same context as the Tsar Bell. The Tsar cannon has never been used.
