Dr. Gonzo, as Hunter S. Thompson called him in Fear and
Loathing in Las Vegas, also wrote two books: Revolt of the
Cockroach People, about his involvement with the
"brown power" movement in LA during the late 60s and early 70s,
and his autobiography, The Autobiography of a Brown Buffalo.
