Irish Stew (thing)

Time for blowdart's simple food :)

You will need

• 3 lamb chops
• 1 onion
• 5 peeled potatoes
• 2 sliced carrots
• Salt and black pepper to taste
• 1 bay leaf
• Sufficient water or chicken stock to cover the meat and onions

Method:

Trim the meat from the chops and cut into pieces

Place a layer of meat on the bottom of a casserole dish

Cover with sliced onion

Cover with the remaining meat

Add water or stock to cover and bring to the boil

Simmer for 30 minutes, without lid

Cut potatoes into cubes and mix in

Add the sliced carrots

Add bay leaf and season

Place lid on top of casserole dish and cook slowly for 1 hour, stirring occasionally
