A relatively unknown brand of DVD player built in Taiwan. Popular for its ability to read not only DVDs and CDs but MP3-CDs, VCDs and SVCDs, and also popular for its low price.
There's nothing special about its looks, and its video quality is decent but not spectacular. It's not a bad system, however, and is much faster at changing tracks than some DVD players such as older Toshiba models. Plus, it handles CD-Rs (but not CD-RWs).
The player is small and is made of black plastic. Thus, I jokingly refer to it as the "Little Black Sampo"
