The Linux Documentation project is a group dedicated to producing Free, high quality documentation for linux. They are involved with such work as the Linux HOWTOs and the more in-depth linux guides. Their ultimate goal is to have complete documentation on all aspects of linux, in an easy to read, easy to find format.

The LDP is essentially a loose team of volunteers with minimal central organization. Anyone who is interested in joining is welcome.
