A futant is a word that was first coined by
Timothy Leary that means a person who has turned on higher
brain circuits then the average person. The word is a mix of '
future' and '
mutant'. These circuits have been explained in Leary's
Eight Circuits of Consciousness as the "
future brains", which have been defined as:

Neurosomatic Circuit
2. The
Neuroelectric Circuit
3. The
Neurogenetic Circuit
4. The
Neuro-Atomic Circuit
