A popular spoof of Microsoft
's "Where do you want to go today?
" and one of my favorite
lines. I've seen it on everything
from websites to e-mail
signatures, and even bumper sticker
s and t-shirts. It's almost a motto
I think it start
ed based off the whole deal with everyone screaming
about Microsoft being a monopoly
and keeping things the way they wanted
them to be. The whole "big controlling power
" bit and all. Sure does make plenty of sense
to me, even if I have given in and keep Windows
on one my my machines. Strictly for masochist
ic purposes, of course.
And after all, the Great Headquarters is
located on One Microsoft Way
. Never 1, always One
. Think they're trying to tell us something
with that? I can feel the subliminal messages
creeping in already...
