The man who developed the est training in the 70s
and the Forum in the late 80s. The Church of
Scientology viewed est as competition and claimed
that Erhard included a number of their ideas
in his course without permission. Erhard was
the target of a well-orchestrated character attack,
in which he was accused of incest and tax fraud
on the TV newsmagazine "60 Minutes".
These allegations have since been dropped.
