I was walking around town with a guy I had met that day, and we were getting along amazingly well, except for the fact that he had made it clear that with him, the
woman always had to
make the first move. Well, I am the world's most painfully
shy person when it comes to doing anything regarding
matters of the heart, so while trying to suck up the guts to actually DO something, I also had to come up with something really
creative that would just knock his socks off. After thinking and thinking, at long last, I looked at him, and cocked my head as if studying his face intently. Putting my hand on the back of his neck, and bending him slightly towards me, I put the other hand up to his cheek, and gently touched it. "Hey... you have something on your cheek. Here, let me get it off..." While pretending to brush off the invisible speck, I pulled him down further and
kissed him. For the next fifteen minutes,
the whole world melted away. Finally,
when we came up for air, he looked at me, and said--
"Yeah, but there really wasn't anything on my face, was there?"
