Book written by
Hugh Prather in the sixties, and published in
1970. It's basically as the title suggests, a collection of brief notes, dealing with
relationships,
beliefs,
self-image, and
expectations. I found it a really
moving book, in that it voiced many of the questions I have about how I
interact with the
world.
This book is now back in print, because Prather's written a bunch of newer stuff which has been successful.
"All I want to do, need to do, is stay in rhythm with myself. All I want is to do what I do and not try to do what I don't do. Just do what I do. Just keep pace with myself. Just be what I will be. "
-Hugh Prather, Notes to Myself
