Live's debut album, released in 1991.
The album's most remarkable and redeeming feature was its inherent and compelling spirituality which managed to convey a convincing sense of sincerity without falling into the pitfall of being overly preachy.
...It's also the only Live album I can listen to... While the overall quality of Live's musical skill does nothing but improve from Mental Jewelry forward, the sincerity that I find so touching in this album is replaced by an insipid sentimentality that simply burns my ears.
