Lambda Hall is a dormitory building at the University of South Florida (one of the first ones built, named with Greek letters alpha through mu). When I was an undergraduate (1991-95) it was the dorm for the Honors Program, and thus attracted some smart but eccentric people. The unofficial "mascot" for a while was Foul Neosaabi; this came from rearranging the letters on the RA's bulletin board to read "Foul Neosaabi ate here." Foul apparently lived in the fuse box with his girlfriend Loosie.
I also have photographs of the mini-golf course built in the downstairs hall, as well as a tattered t-shirt asserting that "Honors students do it longer, harder, and need less sleep in between." (Most former residents are too embarrassed at their own snobbishness to wear those shirts anymore.)
