The newspaper De Limburger is the largest daily newspaper covering the province of Limburg in The Netherlands. It is available on-line at

In 1999/2000, De Limburger was taken over by the Dutch national newspaper De Telegraaf, which also owns Limburgs Dagblad, Limburg's second daily newspaper, and only competitor. The take-over was subject to an investigation by the Nederlandse Mededingingsautoriteit (the Netherlands Competition Authority), but was approved in May 2000 on the condition that the two newspapers remain independent commercial and editorial entities within the Telegraaf group.

The paper's head office is in Maastricht, but it maintains regional offices in Heerlen, Heuvelland, Roermond, Weert, Sittard and Venray
