Ingredients:
400g tin of chopped tomatoes
125 ml cold water
230g tin of butter beans, drained
1 red onion, chopped
1 clove of garlic, chopped
2 teaspoons tomato puree
Oil for frying
Salt and pepper to taste

Serves: 2

Preparation and cooking time: 35 min

Heat the oil in a large saucepan, and gently fry the onion and garlic for five minutes. Add the other ingredients, mix well, and season with salt and pepper. Lower the heat, cover the pan and simmer for 15 minutes. Serve with crusty bread.
