Boa Cat is on my lap, happy to have us home.

We skied yesterday, fourth day, until after one, but the rentals had to be turned in before 3 pm in town. We were already checked out of the hotel and packed. Driving up the mountain was fine and down too. Turned in the skis and drove I2 past Stevens Pass. I was ready to quit after two hours but the extroverted feeler took over and drove through a slow down to the ferry.

We were using the maps app. It went bananas on us at one point and kept trying to get us to use a road that wasn't there. It shouted, "Turn right! Turn left! In 100 yards do a U-Turn!" and so forth. I turned it off and resolved to bring a paper map next time too, that won't yell confusing instructions. We were the next to last car driving on to the Edmonds Ferry to Kingston and then I slept the last section home.

And this morning my legs feel like they've been pounded with a meat tenderizer over and over.... but muscles, not joints. We all came home with knees intact... Joy and Happy New Year!
