Due to the regularity of
bodies in space orbiting other bodies in
space, the
Law of Gravity and other wonderful things to do with
physics, many meteor showers happen at the same time each year. Below are the major meteor showers, all of which are visible from somewhere on earth.

- Orionids, 15-25 October, Star Region: Nu Orionis
- Leonids, 14-20 November, Star Region: Zeta Leonis
- Andromedids, 26 November-4 December, Star Region: Gamma Andromedae
- Geminids, 9-13 December, Star Region: Castor
