Cost-effective, yet remarkably skeezy, way of getting from Boston to New York City, and vice versa. Buses (actually a misnomer - the vehicles are retrofitted Ford Econoline vans) leave several times a day from Chinatown in one city to Chinatown in the other. The companies are rather infamously fly by night, but the ride is surprisingly comfortable, and you can't beat the price - as little as $15 one-way. Beloved of poor collegiate types from Boston looking to get down to the good concerts in New York. Or to score some heroin.
