From what I've read, Lionel Fenn isn't comming up with any new and inventive ideas, but is doing okay reusing the old ones. The books are easy to read and reasonable funny. The plots are nothing special, the worlds aren't well planed out, and sometimes his humor doesn't come off right. But still, better that some writers out there.

* These (2) books I have read, and have made WUs for.
