Thrillseeker's Chili
(my recipe: lazy, but seriously scrumptious)

1 lb good quality ground beef
1 lb ground pork-mild bulk sausage will do
1 medium-to-large-sized habanero pepper, chopped up fine
2 lg onions, diced
1 green bell pepper, diced
4 cups cooked red, pink, pinto or kidney beans
1 12oz can tomato sauce
1 12oz can beef broth
4 Tbsp chili powder
4 Tbsp crushed dried red pepper flakess
2 Tbsp salt
2 Tsp cayenne powder
1&1/2 Tsp ground cumin
Pinch of oregano

salt, black pepper, and hot sauce to taste

Break up both kinds of meat into small pieces and put in a big pot over medium heat.
Brown the meat, then drain off about half the fat.
Add the chili powder, stirring until the meat's coated.
Add diced onions, chopped habanero and chopped green pepper. Cook on medium heat until the onions are transparent.
Add beef broth, tomato sauce and one can of water; stir until well blended.
Stir in the beans; add salt and spices and stir well.
Put a lid on the pot and bring contents to a boil.
Turn heat to low and simmer for 2-3 hours (the longer it cooks the tastier it is). Stir occasionally. If it needs more liquid after it cooks a while, add water.

Serve with cornbread, tortillas, chips or saltines.
Alternately, serve grilled cheese sandwiches or quesadillas on the side
If it's not spicy/hot enough for you, doctor it with hot sauce.
Add additional salt to taste.
Put some grated sharp cheddar cheese on top if you want to -- it's very good that way!
