Film based on a
novel by
C.S. Forester about the travels of a
missionary and the captain of a river boat (The African Queen) in
Africa during the
First World War. They attempt to destroy a
German ship on one of the great lakes in
Africa. If
i recall correctly, the ending is different in the
novel than in the
film.
The film stars Humphrey Bogart and Katherine Hepburn.
