Warren Commision while investigating the
assassination of
President John F. Kennedy. Holds that the second shot
Lee Harvey Oswald fired hit
JFK in the back of the
neck and emerged from the bottom of his
throat. The bullet then hit
Texas Governor John Connally in the back,
fractured his rib, emerged below his right
nipple, passed through his right
wrist, and embedded itself in his right
thigh.
Opponents of this theory derisively refer to the projectile as the "magic bullet".
