A belgian
avant-rock band, led by guitarist and vocalist
Roger Trigaux, originally a member of
Univers Zero (he plays on the first two
UZ albums,
1313 and
Heresie). Mostly instrumental, dark and
angular music, very influenced by modern
classical music.
The characteristic sound of the band is made up of the King Crimson-like guitar playing by Trigaux, accompanied by dissonant and rhythmic piano figures, and the irregular drumming (frequently by Daniel Denis) which seems to compliment and punctuate the music rather than keep rhythm.
The line-up of the band keeps changing, the most famous members being Daniel Denis (drums) and Christian Genet (bass) from Univers Zero, and Dave Kerman of U Totem (drums).
