Electric Slide to. I myself have started a
relationship all on the foundation of meeting while participating in the
Electric Slide, although it ended once the song did.
The most popular songs that I have seen The Electric Slide used in are The Boot Scoot Boogie by Brooks & Dunn, Any Man of Mine by Shania Twain, and The Hustle. The following is a step by step guide how to properly do one variation of The Electric Slide.
1. Step to right with right, slide left together.
2. Step to right with right, slide left together.
3. Step to right with right, slide left together.
4. Clap
5. Step to left with left, slide right together.
6. Step to left with left, slide right together.
7. Step to left with left, slide right together.
8. Clap
9. Step back on right foot.
10. Step back on left foot.
11. Step back on right foot.
12. Touch back on left toe (don't put weight on this foot)
13. Step forward on left foot.
14. Swing kick right foot.
15. Step back on right foot.
16. Touch back on left toe (don't put weight on this foot).
17. Step forward on left foot.
18. Swing kick with right foot turning 1/4 turn to left.
Repeat Step 1
