The Feminist Majority Foundation is an organization basing itself on the most general definition of feminism; that is, "the policy, practice or advocacy of political, economic and social equality for women." Founded in 1987, they are dedicated to "women's equality, reproductive health, and non-violence." Their "About" statement adds, "In all spheres, FMF emphasizing research and action to empower women economically, socially, and politically. Our organization believes that feminists - both women and men, girls and boys - are the majority, but this majority must be empowered."

Somewhat confusingly, the Feminist Majority Foundation and the Feminist Majority are slightly different. FMF is the information arm (research, classes, discussion forums, public policy development), and FM is the action arm (lobbying and direct political action).

Their website, feminist.org, includes international news on everything from politics to women's health, assistance in contacting US Congress members, a feminist events calendar, a feminist census (poll), and more. It's an inclusive rather than polemic site.
