New York Yearly Meeting (thing)

The New York Yearly Meeting is a gathering of Quaker meetings and worship groups in New York State, northern and central New Jersey, and southwestern Connecticut.¹

In addition to being the parent organization of most Quaker meetings in the area that they cover, they also support Powell House, a conference and retreat center². There are seven Quaker schools within the Yearly Meeting: Brooklyn Friends School, Connecticut Friends School, Friends Seminary, Mary McDowell Center for Learning, Oakwood Friends School, Friends Academy, and Westbury Friends School.
