This relish is for putting over steaks, especially ones with a red-wine or otherwise French-style marinade.

Chop finely 1 shallot, and add 1/4 cup chopped flat-leaf parsley. Then squeeze 1/2 a lemon on this and add 2 T. olive oil of your choice, and a 1/2 t. nutmeg. Stir this up and have it settling while you cook your steak. Add to steak to taste...I usually end up having a steak that looks like a garden!
