A human condition where a person takes enjoyment in seeking disapproval from close peers in order to produce sympathy or the continuance of pain. Sometimes used to ‘feed the fire’ of depression. This condition is commonly seen along side with low self-esteem, jealousy, or the feeling of neglect. The constant, negative, mental enforcement to the person who suffers from introverted masochism, without proper aide, can cause a self-inflicted depression that is reinforced in their own mind. Recovery from such condition involves counseling and personal willingness of recovery.

From the words introvert - to turn inward and masochist - pleasure from pain.

A personal note--please notice this is an IDEA not a THING. It makes all the difference.
