The basic pattern for juggling three balls; the one you learn when learning to juggle. The balls cycle in a figure-of-eight pattern, with each hand throwing to the same height.

The pattern more well-known to the non-juggler is the Three Ball Shower, where the balls go in a large circle, and then get passed from one hand to another underneath. This is much harder than the cascade, but looks nicer.

One variation on the three ball cascade is the Reverse Cascade, where every ball goes over the top. This means that the pattern looks like the three ball cascade taped and played backwards.
