An incredibly conservative club for scientists. Founded in 1660, it has become legislatively empowered for several of its functions, which are mainly the promotion of science research, science education and recognition of scientific excellence.

Fellows of the Royal Society are the inner circle and the acronym FRS is incredibly prestigious. There are special rules in the Royal Society rulebook for members of the royal family making it easier for them to get elected.
