The Grey Dog's Coffee

A notable coffeeshop/cafe located on Carmine Street between Bedford and Bleeker in New York City's Greenwich Village. A small, adorably decorated place, the line extends to the back door and their 10 or so tables are always filled, no matter the time of day.

The tiny cafe is quaint and wonderfully decorated- embroidered samplers, birdhouses, and painted mailboxes hang along the walls, along with several artsy blown-up black and white photos of a greyhound.

In addition to serving the normal coffeeshop fare of coffees, lattes, cappucinos, espressos, hot chocolate, teas, and the like, Grey Dog's also has an extensive menu of sandwiches, salads, soups, and other dishes, as well as humongous homemade cookies and assortments of donuts and pastries.
