(Greenland Inuit: Oodaap Qeqertaa)

A small, low sand bank, Oodaaq Island is located NE of Kaffeklubben Island off the North coast of Greenland. This qualifies the diminutive speck of land as the northernmost piece of land in the world.

The island (such as it is) is named for the trapper Oodaaq (born c. 1877, died 1955), who accompanied Peary on his voyage of discovery to the North Pole in 1909.
