This is a variation of the 50-50 grind, so make sure you can do this grind well. As the name implies you use the nose to grind, so there is less area of the board grinding and therfore is more difficult to balance than a 50-50.

Approach your grind object at a medium-slow speed. Ollie and get into a 50-50 position, but as before you even begin grinding put your weight on your nose, but don't lean forward or you will eat it when you come down. Once you start grinding be careful to balance, but keep your weight on your nose, still without leaning.

When you want to finish the grind put weight on your back foot and then nollie while the nose isn't on the object.
