The 10th book in the Discworld series, Moving Pictures is mostly a spoof on the movie industry, and Hollywood in general.

When the last Keeper of the Door dies without leaving a successor, a rift into unreality is let open, and Victor Tugelbend, the longest running Unseen University student in history, is drawn into "Holy wood", where the Alchemists guild are developing their new way to create gold, by producing moving picture shows. Along with Gaspode, the world's only talking dog, they have to figure out just where all this Holy Wood magic is leading while dealing with the greedy ambitions of one Cut-me-own-throat-Dibbler (or CMOT Dibbler, for short), The sausage-in-a-bun salesman turned producer.

This is, unless I'm mistaken, the first book featuring CMOT Dibbler as a main charector, who is without a doubt, one of the funniest running characters of the series.
