Standard Spice Mix


2 parts coriander
1/2 to 1 part black pepper
1 part cumin
1/2 part cloves
1/2 part cinnamon
1 part roasted coconut (optional)

Mix spices and herbs together well. Store in a tight container. If whole spices are used blend or grind each one separately and then combine them in the given amounts. Do not mix too much, as spices tend to lose flavor with age. Best used on vegetable dishes.
