With Bonfire Night quickly approaching us British noders, I thought it would be appropriate to node the Firework Code. These are instructions regarding the safe use of fireworks issued by the English Government. Remember kiddies, play safely:
Buy fireworks that meet BS 7114 from a shop you know, and keep them in a closed, box.
Follow the specific instructions on each firework.
Light fireworks at arm's length using a taper, never a naked flame.
Always stand well back.
Never go back to a firework once it's been lit.
Never put fireworks in a pocket.
Never throw fireworks.
Always light sparklers one at a time and wear gloves to hold them.
Never give sparklers to a child under five.
Keep pets indoors.
Produced by the Consumer Safety Unit of the UK Department of Trade and Industry. Never give children unsafe, imported fireworks. Always follow the firework code.
