A Charolastra, according to Y tu mamá también, is a sort of space cowboy. In the film, Diego "Saba" Madero invents the name from a misheard song lyric, and develops a clique around it, including the two male leads: Tenoch Iturbide and Julio Zapata.

The Charolastras have a manifesto that details their motivations.

In the original Spanish:
