Abertam is a traditional hard cheese of Karlovy Vary, a famous spa town in the mountainous Bohemia region of the Czech Republic.

It's a farmhouse style cheese, made from sheep's milk, matured for two months, and featuring a thin yellow-orange rind. It's fat content is 45%.

Abertam is served as a table cheese or is used for melting.
