AP tests or AP exams, as it has been pointed out I should have phrased them, are
Tests taken around the month of May by weary AP students hoping to recieve college credit for high school courses. Students spend all year school preparing for these
Advanced Placement tests by taking practice
exams and buying books from Barrons and the Princeton Review.
These tests are feared but greatly appreciated. A good score can mean exepmtion from certain basic college courses while a bad score can mean you just wasted your parent's hard earned money paying for the test. After the tests some AP classes slow down while others keep on going strong until the end of the year.
