I was in Borders a few weeks ago, and we were joking about how there were _____ for Dummies books on every single section of the store. Well, when I went up to pay for my purchases (120$ worth, but that's another story entirely), I saw the book in question on a rack by the counter. It was just a little novelty book, about 2 inches high. I decided to get it, just for the humor value.

Well, the content of the book was mostly common sense, including such pearls of wisdom as:

So my friends and I had a good laugh over it, and I mentioned it to some other friends when the subject of Dummies Books came up, and I generally forgot about it until the other day when Christine came up to me and said,

"Remember that Dating for Dummies book you said you bought? It was just the mini kind, right? Well, Robbie* bought the full version. I saw it on the floor in her room.

I haven't yet had a chance to examine the full version of this book, but I imagine it has more of the same.

Personally, I'm waiting for the O'Reilly Book.
