Chocolate that is normally too expensive to be bought just as a snack. Usually wrapped nicely, too. Includes everything from lower-level good chocolate like Ferrero Rocher and Mon Cheri, to See's, to Godiva or chocolate oranges. Just because it comes in a fancy box doesn't mean it's gift chocolate, though; it needs to be especially delicious and a real treat to the mouth. Always appreciated by female friends even if it is a random platonic gesture.
